Who should participate? Counsels and privacy, data security, and compliance staff for company members of the Insights Association are invited to participate, at no cost. The Forum is a benefit exclusive to Insights Association company members.
When and where? A virtual meeting from noon to 2pm Eastern on November 29, 2018.
- Legislation/Regulation: Howard Fienberg, VP Advocacy for the Insights Association, will provide an update on legislative and regulatory developments at the state and federal level, such as: the impact of the Congressional elections; the battle over a federal privacy law; new state data security/privacy laws; the latest on TCPA reform; and mitigation measures for call blocking and labeling.
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): Stuart Pardau will discuss compliance for California's new comprehensive privacy (and data security) law.
- Blockchain for Marketing Research / Data Analytics: Russ Anderson will explore legal issues impacting (and/or impeding) the use of blockchain in marketing research and data analytics.
