GlobaLexicon, a leading market research language and translation service provider, announced a 20% growth in revenue and the hiring of 15 new team members in the first half 2019.
Following on from several years of strong organic growth, the first six months was marked by several notable achievements as clients continued to favour its high-quality, service-oriented, and consultative approach to translation and language services.
The translation company has increased global staff numbers to 90, has moved into larger premises in Chicago, has opened a new office in Timișoara, Romania, and is preparing the move into a larger office for its European Operations Centre in Seville, Spain. This growth has been on the back of continued extensions of several global client relationships but also follows many new local client wins in core sectors of market research, healthcare & pharma, and consumer & retail.
Daniela Toledo, Managing Director, comments: “Our team’s focus on high quality and consultative service, paired with our specialist sector knowledge, continues to set us apart and I would like to thank both our team and our clients for a strong six months. In addition, the continued focus on our in-house linguistic and specialist teams, along with technology, is also paying off.”
The year has also been marked by the further broadening and strengthening of its service offering in areas such as subtitling, voice-over, and in-language coding, and by the further leveraging of machine learning technologies alongside its integrated translation management system. In addition, to better reflect its growing global client base, the company website is now available in six languages.
